Job summary

Burger King in Idaho is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and people development under the Restaurant General Manager.

You will oversee inventory, asset maintenance, cash controls, and ensure brand standards while coaching shifts coordinators and team members to deliver fast, accurate service. This role requires evening and weekend availability and a hands-on approach to training and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory costs and perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections.
• Place and receive inventory orders and maintain asset lists.
• Ensure cash control and security procedures are followed (e.g., safe counting, cash drawers).
• Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with fast, friendly service.
• Direct restaurant team toward efficient, accurate preparation and sale of products within speed-of-service guidelines.
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
