Job summary

Socket.dev in Orlando, FL is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-volume full-service dining operation. You will oversee shifts, scheduling, and ensure top-tier guest service while maintaining strict cost and labor controls.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years General Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Regional or multi-unit management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, food safety, service techniques, and guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including costs for food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Complete all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties accurately and on time per company policies.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas; investigate and respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service.

• Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
