Job summary

The Post Oak in Irving, TX is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations in a high-volume, full-service dining environment. You will drive guest experience, manage front-of-house and kitchen collaboration, and ensure financial controls and reporting are carried out accurately and on time.

With at least 2 years in senior management, you will mentor staff, schedule shifts, monitor quality, and uphold brand standards through consistent coaching and enforcement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of senior management in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Extensive front of house knowledge; advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Stable and progressive work history; strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs across food, beverage, supplies, utilities and labor.
• Assist the General Manager with invoices, reporting and payroll-related administrative duties.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, cleanliness, uniforms and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service; investigate and respond to complaints and turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Manage shifts, scheduling, planning and consistent high quality of food and service.
• Provide direction to employees and conduct performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
• Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
• Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
• Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues while developing employees by providing ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews
