POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager at Qdoba is a confident decision-maker with proven experience in guest/customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. As the General Manager, your responsibilities will be:

1. Focus on your people by creating a culture of high employee retention and full staffing
2. Manage crew member employees to encourage growth and reduce turnover
3. Interview and hire team members
4. Train your team with passion and purpose to empower them to reach their full potential
5. Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
6. Build sales through delicious food, hospitality, and a clean restaurant and kitchen
7. Maintain fast, accurate service, excellent customer service, and model hospitality
8. Ensure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
9. Lead your business effectively
10. Maximize store sales versus budget, including marketing participation
11. Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
12. Manage food and labor costs

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old to comply with laws.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5+ years in QSR with 2+ years in leadership roles

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Strong verbal and written communication. Highly motivated, organized, with integrity and ethics. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, recruit, hire, coach, train, and motivate employees. Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and cases weighing 10-50 lbs. Clear speech and hearing. Ability to operate a computer or tablet.
