General Manager Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and leadership to create a positive culture and high team morale.
  • Develop and execute action plans aligned with company goals.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations focusing on staffing, team development, sales, costs, guest experience, and brand standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete all required training including management development and safety certifications.
  • Ensure excellent guest experiences and uphold service standards.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels through sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top performers.
  • Train and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and holding performance accountable.
  • Create effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs.
  • Delegate shift responsibilities, communicate expectations, and adjust as needed.
  • Uphold product quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale through leadership and role modeling.
  • Drive profitability by increasing sales, controlling costs, and ensuring operational standards.
  • Build community relationships to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage costs, losses, and ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements.
  • Review performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Handle guest and team member concerns promptly and respectfully.
  • Maintain flexibility and safety adherence in the work environment.
  • Perform other duties necessary for restaurant operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Open availability, working at least 5 days and 48 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Background check and motor vehicle report clearance.
  • Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and cooperative interaction abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 3-5 years of management experience; restaurant management preferred.

Capability Requirements
  • Sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Operate restaurant equipment safely.
  • Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
  • Work in varying temperature environments and with food allergens.
