Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete all required training including management development and safety certifications.
- Ensure excellent guest experiences and uphold service standards.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels through sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top performers.
- Train and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and holding performance accountable.
- Create effective work schedules to drive sales and control labor costs.
- Delegate shift responsibilities, communicate expectations, and adjust as needed.
- Uphold product quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale through leadership and role modeling.
- Drive profitability by increasing sales, controlling costs, and ensuring operational standards.
- Build community relationships to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.
- Manage costs, losses, and ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements.
- Review performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
- Handle guest and team member concerns promptly and respectfully.
- Maintain flexibility and safety adherence in the work environment.
- Perform other duties necessary for restaurant operations.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Open availability, working at least 5 days and 48 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Background check and motor vehicle report clearance.
- Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and cooperative interaction abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 3-5 years of management experience; restaurant management preferred.
Capability Requirements
- Sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Operate restaurant equipment safely.
- Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
- Work in varying temperature environments and with food allergens.
