Summary

A Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to their team to deliver excellent guest experiences, operational excellence, and to help build profitable topline sales for a single restaurant. They oversee the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with brand standards, Indus policies and procedures, and all applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
  • Lead team meetings
  • Train restaurant team members
  • Ensure execution of brand standards, recipes, and systems
  • Create and maintain a guest-focused culture
  • Review guest feedback and implement improvement plans
  • Communicate restaurant priorities, goals, and results to the team
  • Manage new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation standards and complying with laws
  • Control costs to maximize profitability
  • Complete inventory periodically as per Indus policy
  • Prepare weekly labor schedules to meet guest demand and service standards
  • Order supplies and manage vendor relationships
  • Conduct self-assessments and develop action plans
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with privacy policies
  • Manage restaurant budget in collaboration with above-unit leadership
  • Oversee cash management, including deposits and cash over/short
  • Engage with Brands Field Operations team as needed
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop team members
  • Monitor and review employee performance
  • Coach team members to improve sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction
Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry
