Job description

Join to apply for the Burger King Restaurant General Manager role at GPS Hospitality.

We are looking for Restaurant General Managers (RGM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking for more. The RGM leads the operation of the restaurants and has the overall responsibility for ensuring the restaurant meets GPS Hospitality standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The RGM works with a team of managers. RGM's bonus is based on performance, both operationally and financially.

Top Five Responsibilities:
  1. Hit sales and profit budgets every period
  2. Execute accurate projections and schedules while working all shifts
  3. Maintain a safe and clean restaurant
  4. Hire and train service-oriented crew and shift leaders
  5. Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory
Job Duties:
  • Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
  • Hire, train, and coach the restaurant team
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems for high-quality operations, projections, and scheduling
  • Implement controls on cash and inventory
  • Develop community relations through contact with the public and organizations
  • Meet standards for speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and proper equipment maintenance
  • Work all shifts, including at least one full weekend each period
  • Follow all regulations, policies, and controls
  • Supervise according to GPS values and behaviors
  • Communicate effectively with management
  • Implement marketing promotions successfully
  • Participate in policies, standards, and training programs
  • Train and develop Assistant Managers and Trainee Managers for growth
Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of GM experience in restaurant or retail
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in high-volume settings
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred
