Job summary

Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking an Expo to ensure smooth flow of food from kitchen to dining area. You will coordinate between kitchen staff, servers, and management to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food.

The role requires excellent multitasking, urgency, and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and sanitation. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Prior expo or similar hospitality experience preferred but training available.
• High-volume restaurant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
• Relay order details and substitutions accurately to servers and management.
• Monitor and prioritize orders to maintain proper sequence and timing.
• Ensure plates leaving the kitchen meet presentation and quality standards.
• Double-check orders for accuracy before delivering to dining area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with expediting takeout and delivery orders as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to promptly address guest concerns or requests.
• Support kitchen during peak hours with prep or plating tasks.
• Uphold company policies, health, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
