Job summary

Citrus Breakfast & Lunch is seeking an Expo to coordinate order timing and presentation at the pass. You will ensure accuracy, plating, and timing for table orders, while maintaining a clean expo station and strict food safety standards.

In this role you will call out orders, communicate requests and allergies to line cooks, and work closely with servers and runners to keep service smooth during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Call out orders to the kitchen line and coordinate ticket timing so all items for a table are ready together
• Perform final quality checks on every plate — temperature, presentation, portioning, garnish, and accuracy against the ticket — before it leaves the pass
• Communicate special requests, allergies, and modifications clearly to line cooks
• Organize and prioritize tickets during rushes to keep wait times consistent
• Coordinate closely with servers and food runners on timing, table numbers, and delivery
• Flag missing or incorrect items before they reach the guest, and correct them quickly
• Maintain a clean, organized expo station throughout service
• Track ticket times and alert the kitchen manager to any bottlenecks
• Restock expo station supplies (plates, garnishes, sauces, to-go containers) as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
