Square One Concepts, Inc. is seeking a reliable Expo to coordinate kitchen-to-table flow, ensuring timely preparation and accurate orders in a fast-paced setting. You will communicate with kitchen staff, servers and management to relay requests and substitutions, while maintaining presentation and quality of all dishes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food and service.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Positive attitude and team player mentality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to relay order details and substitutions.
• Monitor and prioritize orders to ensure proper sequence and delivery.
• Ensure plates leaving the kitchen meet presentation and quality standards.
• Double-check orders for accuracy before service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and storage areas.
• Assist in expediting takeout and delivery orders.
• Support kitchen staff during peak periods and plating tasks.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines and company policies.
