McDonald’s in New Jersey is seeking a Department Manager to lead shifts, supervise departments, and drive fast, friendly service. You’ll guide training, food safety, and inventory management while reporting to the General Manager to meet performance goals.

The role requires 18+ and prior restaurant/retail leadership. You’ll hire, train, and schedule staff, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and help maintain high safety and quality standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts each week to ensure fast, accurate, friendly service for every visit.
• Lead departments such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals and delegate tasks.
• Hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards.
• Directly supervise kitchen, people and service operations to deliver a memorable guest experience.
