Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales growth while upholding our standards of hospitality, quality and safety. You will supervise Team Members, oversee shift operations, manage cash handling and inventory, and support the General Manager in daily decisions.

You will mentor colleagues, conduct training, lead meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• supervise Team Members and Shift Leaders; maintain quality, service and cleanliness; focus on profitability.
• Coordinate staff training with team trainers.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with management and teammates.
• Handle HR issues, including disciplinary write-ups.
• Lead team meetings and communicate operations, procedures and promotions.
• Conduct weekly inventories and manage payroll to meet labor costs.
• Control inventory to meet GAP standards and support management decisions.
• Maintain reports and records per company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee building/equipment maintenance; ensure safety, sanitation and security policies are followed.
• Manage cash for all shifts, including deposits and proper cash procedures.
• Ensure consistent professional appearance and guest hospitality.
