Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales growth and uphold standards of excellence during assigned shifts. You will oversee food service flow, assign tasks, manage cash control, and ensure top-quality hospitality and service.

You will train team members under the General Manager, support daily operations, and help retain staff while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and shift leaders to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coordinate staff training with team trainers.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with management and staff.
• Handle HR issues, including disciplinary write-ups.
• Lead weekly team meetings to discuss operations and promotions.
• Conduct weekly inventories.
• Control payroll to meet labor cost standards.
• Control inventory to meet GAP standards.
• Support General Manager in daily operations.
• Maintain reports and records per company standards and regulations.
• Ensure sanitation, safety and security policies are observed.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
