Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the high-volume, quick service restaurant operations at a travel center. You will assist the Restaurant General Manager and lead a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and a commitment to integrity and accountability at the managerial level. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with flexible scheduling and room for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager when needed and support daily operations.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing team members.
• Direct and assign work to team members to maintain productivity and service standards.
• Create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and guest satisfaction.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness and food safety.
