Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run our high-volume quick service restaurant at travel centers. You will assist the Restaurant General Manager and oversee team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, food quality, and compliance with food safety standards, while supporting a positive and flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum one-year food service management experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members.
• Creating a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment.
