Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a highly-skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to help operate our high-volume travel-center restaurants. You will support the Restaurant General Manager, coach and develop team members, and ensure smooth daily operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and food safety.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of food service management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members
• Direct and assign work to Team Members
• Creating a positive work environment for team members
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment
