Job summary

BFS Foods Dairy Queen in Morgantown, WV seeks an Assistant Manager to support the GM in daily restaurant operations. You will manage shifts, ensure safety and quality standards, handle inventory and scheduling, and lead the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership experience; quick service preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• ServSafe certifiable

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, meeting quality, service and atmosphere standards.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety and safety practices.
• Assist GM with business planning, labor scheduling and inventory to optimize profit and cash control.
• Ensure strong fan service, resolve customer concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Lead store team through hiring, training, and performance feedback; monitor staff performance.
