Job summary

Dairy Queen in Bath, WV is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to run a store with attention to detail and deliver a great guest experience under the guidance of the GM. You will oversee operations, training, and team leadership, focus on quality, service, and safety, and help optimize profits while embracing DQ standards and Fan engagement.

This role requires strong leadership, high-volume restaurant experience, and commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere.
• Train crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety and safety practices.
• Assist GM with restaurant business planning, COGS analysis, inventory, and labor planning.
• Ensure fan service standards and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Lead and coach shift leads and crew; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain health and safety by enforcing sanitation and safe handling.
• Contribute ideas for local store marketing and promotions.
