Job summary

AES Restaurants is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to guide the team in delivering a positive guest experience with high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. You’ll set the tone for the shift, lead in coaching and developing staff, and ensure a smooth operation across all restaurant functions.

You will manage operations, cash controls, inventory, and strive to meet service and financial goals while upholding company values and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Stand for 8-10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders for maintenance.
• Ability to perform bending, squatting, twisting, pulling and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests.
• Hire, train & coach the team.
• Utilize AES Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day.
• Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
• Oversee operations, P&L, guest satisfaction, customer service and speed of service.
• Utilize all systems and tools, including the Systems Board, RTI Task Lists.
• Adhere to all regulations, employment laws, food safety, and accounting controls.
