Pura Vida Miami is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead a hospitality team in a fast-paced, health-conscious brand environment in New York. You will educate guests about nutrient-rich recipes and health benefits while maintaining a welcoming workplace for staff and visitors.

In this role you will collaborate with the General Manager on operations, scheduling, and inventory, ensuring exceptional service and food safety standards throughout daily shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven customer service experience in hospitality or restaurants.
• 2+ years of proven managerial experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a positive attitude and clear communication across the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
• Motivate staff to exceed guest expectations with swift, friendly service.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to manage inventory, staffing, and operations.
• Establish and maintain staffing plans to support expected volumes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Support supervisory functions including hiring decisions and performance coaching.
• Organize, schedule, and supervise team member shifts for smooth operations.
• Direct staff on the floor to maintain smooth operations and address issues.
• Monitor expo station to ensure timely and accurate food delivery to customers.
