HMSHost is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support branch management in executing complex restaurant operations. The AGM ensures the restaurant is ready for business, staffed, and operated to high standards, applying prescribed policies to make management decisions.

The role emphasizes opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, and promoting a culture of safety and inclusion across the unit. Exempt, on-site leadership opportunity.

Qualificações

• Requires minimum of 6 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum of 4 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents; converse with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Interviews job candidates; makes hiring and promotion decisions; promotes HMSHost as employer of choice.
• Reads and understands financial and operational data and reports to monitor goals.
• Monitors compliance with wellness and safety guidelines; reports safety concerns to GM.
• Places orders for units and processes invoices; ensures accurate cash handling.
