Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Eatontown, NJ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant team in a fast-paced, sports-themed environment. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to drive guest satisfaction, training, and daily operations across front and back of house.

This role requires 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work a 50-hour week with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years supervisory or management experience in a restaurant.
• Ability to work a 50-hour work week.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible hours and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant FOH and BOH; assist the General Manager in leading the restaurant management team.
• Instruct, train, coach and develop the restaurant team to recognize and reward achievement.
• Assist with recruiting and hiring of hourly employees.
• Ensure staffing to maximize customer service and sales.
• Work to maximize sales and profits.
• Responsible for cash controls and enforcing company policies.
• Prepare and execute local store marketing, merchandising, promotions to increase sales.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Resolve customer complaints; train team to resolve issues.
• Has knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation.
