Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Marlboro Township, NJ seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead our busy restaurant team. You’ll supervise FOH and BOH, coach staff, recruit hourly employees, and drive sales while delivering the energetic guest experience we’re known for.

The AGM role requires 2–3 years of restaurant management, strong leadership, and the ability to work a 50-hour week in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are needed.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 2–3 years of supervisory/management experience in a restaurant.
• Leadership skills to supervise, train and motivate restaurant personnel.
• Ability to work a 50-hour work week.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong written, verbal, math and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant FOH and BOH; assist the General Manager in leading the restaurant management team.
• Instruct, train, coach and develop the restaurant team.
• Assist GM with recruiting and hiring hourly employees.
• Ensure appropriate staffing to maximize service and sales.
• Work to maximize sales and profits within the restaurant.
• Responsible for cash controls and enforcing company policies.
• Plan local store marketing, merchandising, sales and promotions.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed.
• Resolve customer complaints; train team to resolve issues.
• Knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation.
