Job summary

MGM Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager - Restaurant to support the General Manager by directing the Restaurant Service team and aligning with MGM brand standards. The role focuses on achieving financial goals, staff development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities include daily restaurant operations, budget and labor management, HR duties, coordinating with culinary teams, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies.
• Assist General Manager with HR responsibilities including coaching, performance feedback, hiring, training and succession planning, and compliance with policies and labor agreements.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, handle complaints, and coordinate with the culinary team for seamless service.
• Ensure health, sanitation and cleanliness standards across all restaurant areas and completion of required compliance training.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, products and equipment; support execution of company-wide initiatives.
