Job summary

UCP Heartland in Webster Groves, MO is seeking a Residential Program Manager for our Respite Home. You will lead one site, supervise up to nine staff and eight clients, and ensure daily operations run safely and smoothly.

You will collaborate with nursing and care teams, maintain documentation, coordinate schedules, and drive quality service for families, funders, and participants. This is a full-time exempt role with opportunities for advancement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in the IDD field.
• At least one year supervising a team.
• At least one years’ experience in overnight care.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• The ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with the nursing team to ensure medical documentation is current for incoming participants.
• Provide quality customer service to parents, staff, funders, and participants with regular and consistent communication.
• Tracks and completes all necessary documentation for participants being referred to the Respite program.
• Updates the attendance calendar weekly and schedules staff accordingly.
• Reviews monthly reports and safety drills submitted by staff for accuracy, acknowledges documentation prior to submission.
• Provide physical assistance including lifting to support participants per the support plan.
• Ensure Health and Safety and advocate for client rights and self-determination.
• Manage and supervise employees: coaching, planning, delegating, and performance appraisals.
• Provide 24-hour support to clients, families and program staff.
• Work between one site and UCP offices; on-call 24/7.
