Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy Heartland is seeking a Residential Program Manager for our Respite Home in the Webster Groves area near Saint Louis, MO. This full-time exempt role carries a salary range of $55,000 to $61,000 annually and offers advancement opportunities.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with nursing, manage documentation and scheduling, ensure health and safety, and provide 24-hour support while maintaining HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in the IDD field.
• At least one year supervising a team.
• At least one years’ experience in overnight care.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with nursing to ensure medical documentation is current for participants.
• Provide quality customer service to parents, staff, funders and participants with regular communication.
• Track and complete documentation for participants referred to the Respite program.
• Update attendance calendar weekly and schedule staff accordingly.
• Review monthly reports and safety drills for accuracy and timely submission.
• Provide physical assistance and use proper transferring techniques where needed.
• Maintain health and safety and advocate for client rights and self-determination.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, DMH, SB40 Boards, CARF and related policies.
• Supervise and coach staff; plan, delegate, and appraise performance.
• Complete required reporting in the agency’s EHR system and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Provide 24-hour support to clients and families; work across sites as needed.
• On-call 24/7 and manage day-to-day home operations.
