Job summary

Walnut Street Center Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Residential Program Manager to supervise a home for adults with ID/DD.

This full-time role includes staffing, ISPs, medical scheduling, and daily living activities support, with on-site supervision and 24/7 on-call coverage. The ideal candidate will have prior group home management experience, MAP certification, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills to coordinate with families, guardians, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a group home
• Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass OIG, CORI, SORI and Driving background checks
• Valid Driver's License required
• Valid MAP certification is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management.
• Provide case management; develop and implement ISPs, schedule medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.
• Complete or delegate administrative tasks including staff payroll, updating manuals and petty cash reconciliation.
• Supervise activities of daily living, including social skills, personal routines, and financial management.
• Serve as liaison between the Agency and individuals’ family, friends, and guardians.
• Oversee behavioral interventions and emergency procedures for safety.
• Administer and document medication administration accurately.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report injuries/incidents promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
