Job summary

Olympic Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Customer Service Representative to handle scheduling, patient communications, and EMR tasks with care. The CSR ensures orders are accurate and referrals are created, interfacing with PFT labs when needed and supporting the Respiratory Therapy Manager with administrative duties.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with healthcare clerical experience and familiarity with EPIC EMR, CMS LCDs, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Office management training preferred
• Knowledge of medical and respiratory therapy terminology preferred
• Two years’ related receptionist/clerical experience in healthcare preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and schedule patients using Epic EMR
• Prioritize patients for scheduling and verify provider orders meet CMS LCD/OMC guidelines
• Coordinate referrals within the EMR and notify PFT Lab personnel as needed
• Perform general office duties: data entry, faxing, scanning, and phone inquiries
