FutureCare in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to ensure personalized treatment plans and bedside respiratory care for residents under physician orders. You will work as part of the nursing team, performing procedures and managing ventilators with supervision and medical direction.

Qualifications

• Maryland licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Minimum 1 year clinical respiratory experience.
• Current CPR training and recertification every two years.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Accept and transcribe physician verbal orders for respiratory procedures.
• Monitor and manage ventilation and wean residents as ordered.
• Perform pulmonary function testing and administer oxygen and medications.
• Provide respiratory care across adult and geriatric residents.
• Document ventilator settings, therapy responses, and resident status.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care practices.
