FutureCare in Baltimore seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to deliver personalized care under physician orders, maintain ventilator support, and ensure safe respiratory procedures for adult and geriatric residents.

The role requires Maryland licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; strong communication in English is essential. Competitive salary ($40-$45/hr) with shift differential and a robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory experience.
• Current CPR training with recertification every two years.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds and manage patient mobility.

Responsibilities

• Accept and transcribe physician verbal orders for respiratory procedures.
• Initiate, monitor, manage and wean residents from ventilators as directed.
• Perform chest physiotherapy, pulmonary function testing and aerosol therapy.
• Manage artificial airway care including tracheostomy and suctioning.
• Document ventilator settings, response to therapy and progress.
• Provide staff education and participate in performance improvement.
