Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a part-time PRN Respiratory Therapist to join a rotating shift team in Indiana. The role supports critical care, NICU, and cardiothoracic recovery areas with patient-focused respiratory care.

Ideal candidates will hold Indiana RT licensure, NBRC CRT, and have experience in critical care environments. The position offers daily pay options and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Indiana licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• CRT certification through NBRC.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to stabilize and treat patients using oxygen, medicines, and mechanical devices; document therapy in patient records.

What you'll do:

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

What you'll need:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred
