Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for the Day Shift to deliver respiratory care, manage oxygen therapy, and assist in critical care settings across our facilities.

Ideal candidates are AMA-accredited program graduates with Indiana licensure and NBRC RRT certification; ICU/NICU or Open Heart Recovery experience is preferred, and we provide tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to stabilize, prevent or treat patient respiratory problems; operate oxygen, aerosols and medications; document therapy data.

What you\'ll do:

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

What you\'ll need:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board of respiratory Care (NBRC)

• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred
