Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for day shifts. The role supports critical care, NICU and open heart recovery, with a focus on patient stability and recovery.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Operates oxygen and other therapeutic gas delivery systems and related devices; administers medications as prescribed; monitors patient responses and records data in the medical record.

What You'll Do:

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

What You'll Need:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred
