Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a part-time/PRN role with rotating shifts. You will deliver respiratory care from stabilization to treatment, and operate oxygen and related therapies while maintaining equipment and patient records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Indiana.
• CRT certification through NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery; Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to stabilize or treat patient respiratory problems.
• Operate oxygen, gas therapies, and aerosolized medications as prescribed.
• Maintain and check equipment; document therapy data in patient records.

What you'll do:

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

What you'll need:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred
