Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join a rotating shift in Indiana. The role includes delivering respiratory care, operating oxygen therapy, and documenting patient progress in electronic records.

The position emphasizes a supportive team culture, student-friendly learning, and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• CRT through the NBRC is required.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to stabilize, prevent, or treat patient respiratory problems.
• Operate oxygen and other therapeutic delivery devices and document therapy in patient records.

What You'll Do:

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

What You'll Need:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred
