As Respiratory Therapist you will perform patient assessment, evaluation for appropriate therapy, administration of therapy, consultation with other health care providers, diagnostic testing, implementation and troubleshooting of equipment and monitoring of patient across ages.

These services are provided to neonate through geriatric patients. This full-time night-shift role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and a relocation package up to $8,000 based on distance,

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a certified or registered respiratory therapist.
• Must hold an active Iowa license for Respiratory Care at hire.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS certification preferred within one year of hire.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs inhaled medication therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, and pulmonary function testing.
• Manages ventilatory support and airway management, including CPAP/BiPAP therapy.
• Operates and troubleshoots respiratory care equipment such as ventilators and monitors.
• Interprets diagnostic results and documents findings in patient records.
• Provides patient education on device use and treatment.
