UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver advanced respiratory care, including airway management and ventilator support. This full-time role requires NC licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and NBRC-registered status, with at least two years of experience.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board; NBRC registered (RRT) preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information; document clinical information; communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Administers standard Respiratory Care including airway management, ventilation and oxygen therapy.
• Manages ventilator care and respiratory procedures; may perform pulmonary function testing as needed.
• May be on-call days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Serves as resource to staff; maintains and updates knowledge and skills.
