Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist, Senior for the night shift to provide advanced respiratory care, including airway and ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments. Per diem schedule with potential on-call duties prepares you to support complex adult and pediatric patients.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and NBRC RRT certification (CRT eligible with extensive experience).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current NBRC RRT certification required; CRT also eligible with experience.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS or CPFT or related advanced practice certificate may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Administers standard Respiratory Care including aerosol medications, oxygen, and arterial punctures.
• Ventilator management and airway support including tracheostomy care and intubations.
• Maintain knowledge and operate independently with minimal supervision.
