Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for a flexible per-shift gig in its Missouri facilities. The role includes direct patient care across respiratory therapies, physician consultation on therapy effectiveness, and acting as an advanced resource for the care team.

Qualified candidates will be a graduate of a CoARC-approved program with current RCP licensure, NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT), and ACLS; PALS if ER involved, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current license as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state.
• Hold NBRC credential: RRT or CRT; PALS for ER if applicable; ACLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and adjust care as needed.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned and support clinical operations.
