Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis and surrounding communities is seeking Respiratory Therapists for a flexible RRT/CRT gig. Performs direct patient care in respiratory care according to physician orders, consults on therapy, and serves as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Day/night shifts available with no weekend or major holiday requirements. Requirements include graduation from a CoArc approved program, current RCP license, NBRC credential (RRT or CRT), ACLS (and PALS for ER), and at least

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the relevant state.
• NBRC credential: RRT or CRT. PALS for ER; ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
