Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care across respiratory services. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for the care team.

The role involves flexible shift options and a collaborative environment within Mercy Hospitals. Qualifications include CoARC-approved respiratory care education, active RCP licensure, NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT), and ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure as required by state.
• NBRC credential: RRT or CRT; PALS for ER, ACLS required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, not including orientation time.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned, with flexibility to cover day/night shifts.
