Mercy Hospital St. Louis and surrounding communities is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a flexible day or night shift gig. This role involves direct patient care, consulting on therapy effectiveness, and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

Ideal candidates have a CoARC-approved program, NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT), and a current RCP license. ACLS is required; PALS for ER. Weight of emphasis on compassionate, professional teamwork and adaptability.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC credentials: RRT or CRT; ACLS required; PALS for ER.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing.
• Perform duties as assigned.
