Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will serve as a subject matter expert, train new hires, and mentor teammates while ensuring efficient delivery of respiratory devices and supplies.

You will collaborate with department staff, manage equipment setup, perform follow-ups, and maintain documentation and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is preferred.
• Ability to service respiratory equipment in various settings.
• Familiarity with billing and documentation for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to instruct and troubleshoot equipment.
• Set up and fit PAP devices with appropriate masks and communicate instructions clearly.
• Perform patient follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and basic repairs per policy.
• Document equipment usage and incident reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
