Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and clinical settings. You will train staff, assist with PAP therapy setup, and ensure high-quality service and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, documenting activities, and collaborating with care teams to optimize patient outcomes while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction, general manual labor, military or equipment repair is related experience.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
