Job summary

GSK is seeking a field-based Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover a Pittsburgh-area territory in PA. You will engage specialist customers, provide scientific knowledge, and drive product adoption across primary care and specialty clinics.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of pharma or B2B sales, strong communication, and the ability to travel domestically. Residency within the territory is required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography. No relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify resources for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge of severe asthma therapeutic expertise and update accordingly.
• Provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and implement strategies for each customer within an account (e.g., PCPs, Allergists, Pulmonologists, nurses).
• Maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical, and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources (financial).
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customer requests and needs.
