Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a field-based Territory Sales professional to cover Harrisburg, York, and Mechanicsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will combine scientific knowledge with strong business acumen to engage specialist customers and drive product adoption.

You will understand reimbursement landscapes, coordinate with Payer Relations, HUB, and Marketing teams, and implement territory-specific sales strategies while complying with GSK values. Domestic travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically, possibly overnight or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography; no relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement to specialist customers for a GSK biologic product.
• Understand reimbursement and distribution landscape and refer customers to appropriate resources for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge of severe asthma therapeutic area and related products.
• Provide product educational programs and in-services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and implement account-specific strategies for Primary Care Physicians, Allergists, Pulmonologists, nurses, PAs, and office managers.
• Maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources and respond to customer inquiries and needs.
