Job summary

GSK is seeking a Respiratory Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton and Clarks-Summit, PA. This field-based role requires residing in the territory and traveling to customer sites.

You will engage specialists, provide educational programs, and develop strategic account plans to drive allergy/asthma product adoption. The ideal candidate has 2+ years pharma or B2B sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales or 2+ years business-to-business sales.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
• Must live in the geography. No relocation assistance.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify the appropriate resources to refer customers to for reimbursement and distribution choices, working within GSK guidelines and values.
• Maintain knowledge and data, which are constantly changing, with respect to severe asthma therapeutic expertise.
• Provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values at all times.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer within an account (e.g., Primary Care Physicians, Allergists, Pulmonologists, nurses, PAs, business/office managers).
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources (i.e., financial).
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to our customers' requests, inquiries and needs.
