Job summary

AdaptHealth seeks a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. The role includes equipment instruction, device setup for PAP therapy, and ongoing patient follow-up to optimize outcomes.

You will maintain gear, perform preventative maintenance, and document activities while upholding HIPAA guidelines and company policies. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks and communicate instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures per policy.
