Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will train staff, assist with PAP setup, and ensure equipment is functioning and properly documented.

The role emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, safety protocols, and quality improvement, with opportunities to interact with the Respiratory Department and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP devices and masks with clear client instructions.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate urgent needs.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs per policy and guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
