Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital environments in compliance with policies and procedures. You will serve as an expert, conduct training for new hires, and mentor team members while ensuring accurate documentation and proper equipment management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in construction/manual labor or equipment repair may be considered related experience.
• Experience in Medicare-certified HME environment that bills insurance is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP equipment and masks with patient instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure outcomes; escalate urgent needs to clinical support.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment per policy/guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality; complete required paperwork.
